VOTE: Top of the class?

Lausanne, Switzerland, August 21, 2015 – Volleyball fans from around the world have had their say and believe 2015 will not be the year Japan end their 34 year medal drought at the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Cup 2015. Friday’s poll is asking supporters whether the top scoring record will be beaten at the 12th edition of the tournament.

Only one third of fans think the hosts will claim their first medal since silver at the 1981 edition.

View the results from the poll and have your say on the latest poll on the Women’s World Cup website.

Friday’s vote asks whether anyone can beat Barbara Jelic’s record point haul at the tournament. The Croatian scored 317, an average of 28 a match, during the 1999 editions. Fans will have until 14:00 CET on August 22 to submit their vote.
