Nagoya, Japan, September 4, 2005 - China swept Dominican Republic 3-0 here Friday afternoon and coach Jenny Lang Ping wanted her players to "read flow of the game better".

China coach Jenny Lang Ping: We were well prepared relatively speaking. Our block and defense was good. We want to become better at reading the flow of the game. The pressure is building with each match. We will play Russia tomorrow and want to play to our full potential.

China captain Zeng Chuniei: We are happy we won. We had good combination play and from our center today. We played as we expected.

China player Yang Junjing: I'm relieved to have won. I'm happy we could show what we practice. I'm happy with the level that we showed today.

Dominican coach Marcos Kwiek: We knew we had an uphill battle today. China is close to the Olympic ticket. We have built our team up during this competition, but China was better. We have two games left and want to get the maximum points from them.

Dominican captain Prisilla Rivera: This match didn't go as we wanted. They have good attacks. We hoped to play at a higher level. Their serves were good. They have tall players with strong spikes. We will refresh ourselves and get ready for tomorrow.
