Komaki, Japan, September 5, 2015 – Cuba defeated Argentina 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-20) in the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup at Park Arena Komaki on Saturday.

Korea coach Lee Jungchul: "We’ve had a tight schedule and the players have been fighting in every game. It’s been a difficult time but they’ve done their best and our target is to be in the top six so we would like to win tomorrow’s game."

Korea captain Kim Yeon Koung: "We won so I’m very happy. We concentrated very well today. It’s been a long schedule and we want to continue to concentrate in the last game tomorrow."

Korea player Cho Song Hwa: "I wasn’t on the starting lineup today but came in midway through the match, but I think I did alright, so I’m satisfied."

Argentina coach Guillermo Orduna: "Argentina today had a very good team performance. All the players did a good job but we need to play better in the future. Today we lost because some players lack experience, but every player showed some of their good points and we want to try and win tomorrow."

On the absence of captain Emilce Sosa: She didn’t get a chance to play today and wasn’t happy about it, but she has a slight injury and it’s been a long tournament so above all I want to protect the player. But I think it was a good decision for the team. Maybe she can play tomorrow, but I don’t know."

Argentina captain Emilice Sosa: "I wasn’t on the court today and I wasn’t happy about that, but we had some new players on the court and they did a good job. Yesterday at the press conference I said we had achieved our target, but we still have some way to go. I think we played at the same level as Korea but ended up losing despite trying our hardest."
