Frontrunners Russia play for fifth win

·    Cuba can lose four matches in a row at the World Cup for the first time since a streak of five in 1981.
·    Cuba scored a team-high 14 blocks in their 3-1 defeat against Dominican Republic, five by Alena Rojas Orta.
·    Cuba had six different top scoring players in their four matches so far: Regla Rainierys Gracia Gonzalez (v KEN), Alena Rojas Orta, Daymara Lescay Cajigal and Heidy Margarita Rodriguez Lopez (v ARG), Sulian Caridad Matienzo Linares (V JPN) and Jennifer Yanet Alvarez Hernandez (v DOM).
